Lumen Prize Winner

Written by Tommy Ingberg, 10/19/2012 in category News

Today it was announced that my image “Torn” has won the 2012 Lumen Prize.

I am deeply honored and very excited to receive this wonderful award.
I would like to thank the great people at The Lumen Prize Exhibition for putting all of this together and of course the members of the jury.

The Lumen Prize Exhibition is the first global prize for digital fine art. The goal is to focus the world’s attention on this exciting, emerging genre of fine art through a curated competition that will find the very best examples of digitally-created art and then take this work on a global tour in 2013.

The Lumen Prize Exhibition - comprising the Lumen Prize winners, the Exhibition 50 and the Peoples Choice winner, will start travelling the world in January 2013. Work will be displayed on large-scale screens and projectors.

January 21-28, 2013: London, Gallery 27, Cork Street

February, 2013: Latvia, Roberts Books

February 2013: Shanghai, FQ Projects

March 2013: Hong Kong, Plum Blossoms Art Gallery
